Director Enterprise Risk Management

Mandatory points to be noted

- Handled ERM Agenda

- Risk management, identification, and mitigating the risk for India and International

- He/she will not be directly involved in risk management however would b working with respective businesses on co-developmental plan of mitigating risk, and building on strategy

- Interacting with stakeholder across function

- Should have minimum 5 years of risk management experience

- Must have of the profile: Understanding business and business requirements, ERM Framework understanding, stakeholder management and risk management

Experience: Minimum 10 years to 15 years of experience

Industry: FMCG preferred, open to look at other industries

Qualification: CA, MBA and should have specialized in ERM course (global certification)

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

1. At least 10 years of work experience, preferably in the FMCG industry or other large global organizations.

2. A minimum of 5 years dedicated to senior-level roles in Enterprise Risk Management.

3. Possession of a reputable accounting or business degree, such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a leading business school.

4. Professional risk management certifications required such as Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or Professional Risk Manager (PRM).

5. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing ERM frameworks, strategies, and policies with extensive experience in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across various risk categories.

6. Proven ability in engaging with senior executives, business unit leaders, and Board committees on risk-related matters.

7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex risk-related concepts to all organizational levels.

8. Strategic thinker with the capacity to make decisions based on a balanced assessment of risks and business drivers.

9. Proficiency in using risk management software and technology for risk identification, reporting, and decision- making.

10. Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of emerging risks and management strategies.

11. Experience in articulating risk and mitigation strategies and developing risk registers for regional business meetings.

12. Ability to analyze strategic business data and frame hypotheses on risks impacting long-term growth objectives.

13. Understanding of strategic objectives, growth drivers, and key metrics of varied businesses.

14. Drive the integration of ERM with the wider organizational objectives and foster a mature risk management culture.
