Key Responsibilities:

1. Support ‘Operations Group’ in developing strategic plans for Manufacturing Foot Print and Capacity Planning as Business keeps growing beyond its existing manufacturing facilities.

2. Identifying and Develop Engineering Strategies for New Product Development, New Business Development Projects and assist Operating Plants in its successful implementation.

3.. Technical Planning and ensuring Timely Availability of needed Infrastructural Facility (delivering desired PI International quality).

4. Develop a white paper for building Aseptic Manufacturing Platform for IB

5. Support ‘Operations’ in standardization of processes, hardware and localization of spares.

6. To lead and support Plant Engineering Design for Capacity Expansion Projects , Plant Process Engineering , Productivity initiatives , Field Capability building.

7. Lead & execute the expansion projects of the business in MU’s as per the clearly identified timelines ensuring all the below parameters are met:

a) Quality of construction & material used.

b) Cost effectiveness – minimize wastages.

c) Ensuring safety at all times

8. Develop Flexible Manufacturing Strategy for the business to leverage / debottleneck existing assets for a better ROIC.

9. Drive Capital efficiency

10. Develop vertical start up plans for new COBO facility (GF/BF) in terms of people capability build, process capability and technology transfer while meeting the desired PI international quality requirements and IB AOP plans

11.. Develop Co-Pack Engineering Strategy to deliver an aggressive co-pack capex cost while ensuring plant designs to meet or exceed COBO VMOH performance.

12. Benchmark Practices and Initiatives on Beverage Engineering Innovation from Global PI Operations To strategic IB Manufacturing, Quality, R&D teams all requirements according to the BU innovation agenda

13. Fully responsible to incorporate manufacturing strategies in the IBP and AOP including CSD start up and GNG / GBG assimilation.

Key Skills/Experience Required-

- Engineering Graduate (Mechanical / Electrical / Production) preferably Post Graduate Management Degree with specialization in appropriate technical discipline.

- Deep engineering experience and Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage diverse project across multiple locations

- Ability to analyze and process high volumes of information, manage multiple priorities in a timely manner with precise attention to details, a high degree of accuracy and extensive problem solving experience.

- Strong Thinking Skills and Strategic Focus

- Expert in productive communication with excellent collaboration skills

- Good Interpersonal relations

Desirable: Exposure in General Management

- Fluency in English Language. Knowledge of 2 – 3 Indian languages would be added advantage.
