Director - Engineering - Product & Technology Services Firm

We are looking for Technology Director who will plan and direct all aspects of engineering products and projects and be responsible for a P/L activities of a center.

Job Requirements :

- Plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities and projects within an organization.

- Proven relevant experience in building a robust service-oriented product in an enterprise/saas company.

- Own design and development of major pieces of the technology platform for a product.

- Execute complex projects working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Build, lead and motivate a team of high performing engineers.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Be a hands-on technologist with strong business acumen, with the ability to architect high performance and highly scalable solutions in line with the demanding needs.

- Manages overall engineering budget and costs.

- Utilizes best practice engineering methods and provides expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives. Incorporates components, materials, and tools that result in cost-effective and quality output.

Experience :

- Must have experience on Java/open source technologies

- Must be a highly collaborative leader with the ability to lead through influence and work effectively with senior level executives across the organization.

- Needs to have hands-on experience with Enterprise mobile/web application development.

- Experience in building highly scalable applications, hands-on and can deal with large/complex architectures. Should have worked on distributed systems.

- Is well versed with mobile and cloud-based technologies.
