Director - Engineering - Payments

The client is is an US-based leading provider of eCommerce authentication and cashless payment solutions to banks and consumers in emerging markets including India.

Responsibilities -

Define product roadmap and delivery upon it

- Managing a team of developers and managers, to deliver on product roadmap

- Recruiting new talent and coaching team members to build a world class team

- Establishment of performance goals for all team members.

- Designing and developing enterprise class highly scalable mission critical applications

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms

- Hands on Architecture and Design skill is required

- Work closely with QA, Professional Services, Developers to drive product development

- Architecture and design reviews

- Track actual project cost against estimated cost

- Set goals and perform appraisals for team members

- Improve state-of-art within the team for automation, architecture, infrastructure

- Manage client expectations

- Understanding client requirements and provide estimation

- Reengineering and rearchitect of existing payment gateway

- Build the scalable platform for 2-3 billion transactions for authentication.

- Good to have : Knowledge on IOT, block chain and PSD2/ SCA.
