Our Client is a Media production firm with a legacy of 70+ years in India with a strong foothold in the digital print space. They have an internet business that spans over multiple domains like general and business news, job search and movies.
Description :
Key responsibilities of the role are :
- Building Team & Culture: Building a customer obsessed team which is technically fearless and keen to innovate on behalf of customers. Hire and develop the best and instil mechanisms to drive a day 1 culture indexing on customer obsession, invention, and ownership.
- Adapting and delivering on the Agile strategy for the team.
- Creating Technology Leverage: Building modular technology services architecture and simplify technology footprint across diverse set of products to create leverage and accelerate time to market.
- Looking around corners and identifying inorganic growth opportunities
- Influencing Business Strategy: Deepening business fluency by listening to customers and merchants, understanding critical business metrics, and influence overall product direction and strategy
Profile :
- Good academic record and graduated (B.E/ B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech/ MBA)
- 10+ years of experience in various elements of full stack - front end, back end, data and insights. Including designing, implementing and successfully delivering scalable, secure Microservices based cloud applications.
- Experience in large-scale distributed systems with expertise on Java technologies and NoSQL.
- Technical leadership in design, implementation and support of core database services that are highly reliable, flexible, and scalable.
- Extremely strong technical background with the capability of being hands-on if required and earn the respect and ability to mentor top individual technical talent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate
