 Description - The incumbent will be working very closely with the Co-Founders as a thought partner and have full responsibility for everything tech. Leading the development of various products as well as hiring and building a highly motivated and talented team would be the Director Engineering's mandate.

Job Description : 

- Scope and lead technical projects with enormous impact across many teams

- Lead recruitment of high quality engineers for our development team

- Directly contribute to product development by writing code

- Architect systems for scale and stability

- Serve as a role model for our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many code bases and processes you will encounter

- Collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines like product, design, and customer success

Profile: 

- You have a computer science or equivalent degree from a leading technology institute (Tier 1 Engineering Colleges only)

- You have a strong technical background, with 5+ years of experience with software engineering

- You have managed engineering teams that have a strong record of shipping products

- You have successfully recruited and mentored engineers

- Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable

- Proficiency in Javascript, HTML5/CSS3, SQL

- Experience with frameworks like React, ReactNative, Node.js, GraphQL

- Candidates with deep experience in mobile and frontend would be highly preferred

- Experience with databases technologies like PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis

- Experience with dev ops - AWS, CI/CD
