Job Description : The role involves leading a 60 member team responsible for development of consumer products - portals and mobile applications.

Client Details : The client is a well know MNC in the telecom industry, exhibiting high growth in international markets.

Description :

- Heading overall product development and architecture for consumer products like portals and mobile apps

- Deliver on strategic initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency in line with business strategy

- Stakeholder management with domestic and international partners

- Leading a team of 60 engineers (DRs: Eng Mgrs, TLs, Lead Engineers)

- Closely working with peers in adjoining teams specifically looking at the backend development of these respective portals

Profile :

Must Haves :

- 15+ years of experience

- Exposure in designing complex and highly scalable customer facing platforms/ products/ portals/ applications (web and mobile)

- Previous experience in leading FE & Mobile teams

- Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies

- Hands on experience in: Java, Angular, Android

- Sound understanding of architecture designs, microservices, API integrations, distributed systems

- Knowledge of QA tools and processes

- Good understanding of product development processes including Agile development best practices

- Ability to strike a balance between quality and speed of delivery

- Solution oriented and problem solving mindset

Good to Haves :

- Prior experience in creating customer facing portals and applications for telecom industry would be preferred

- Past experience in managing medium to large sized teams
