Director of Engineering- B2B SAAS

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end software engineering / product development, focusing on achieving product-market fit in global markets.

- Drive the delivery of product features, ensuring product quality, predictability, evolution, and agility.

- Implement and oversee contemporary engineering practices and processes, including Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), DevSecOps, and QA Automation.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting best practices in software development.

- Collaborate closely with Product Management to align engineering efforts with business goals and customer needs.

- Manage, mentor, and scale the engineering team to support growth and development.

Requirements:

- 5+ years leadership experience in product software industry

- Proven experience as a Director of Engineering or similar leadership role in software engineering, with a strong track record in B2B startups or scale-ups.

- Deep expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing engineering teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

- Experience in building scalable, high-quality software products and driving technological innovation.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
