We are hiring for the position of Director - Dry Commodities with one of the leading organization

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

- Be well versed in the B2B sales process for dry fruits (raisin, cashew, pistachio, almonds) and spices (red chilli, black pepper, white pepper, cardamom, bay leaf).

- Have relationships with buyers in companies dealing in F&B production, snacks, spices / food ingredients, re-packers and resellers.

- Map buyer demand, seasonality, critical buying parameters, spec sheets.

- Execute the B2B sales plan till CM3 level.

- Crisis management: troubleshoot day to day issues and close issues timely.

- Manage AR & AP within agreed TOT.

- Experience managing a long trading book will be a plus.

Quality:

- Be aware of product quality in terms of spec sheets.

- Engage with the supply team to manage the end-to-end supply chain (storage, transportation, primary processing, and logistics).

- Be well-versed with procurement maps.

Data:

- Consolidate the global & local crop balance sheets for all commodities in the portfolio.

- Prepare market outlook reports on availability, supply channels, demand, pricing.

- Manage the P&L of the portfolio & prepare monthly review reports.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.

Others:

- Should have managed 3-10 member teams in sales, procurement, and quality.

- Data oriented - be able to capture numbers in accounts and use that as a source of truth.

- Willing to travel 15 days in a month.
