Director - Digital Marketing
The incumbent will be instrumental in managing the marketing team and driving the growth strategy for :
Editorial & Events :
- Pursuing strategic partnerships & media partnership opportunities with allied publications and key business accounts.
- Playing a key part in conceptualizing and ensuring the success of event brand in the US.
- Software Reviews
Recruitment & Vendor Management :
Recruitment : Creating & driving programs to recruit marketing software reviews from marketing target group at scale.
- Vendor Management : Ensuring key business vendors, followed by all other marketing software vendors are able to claim & manage their vendor accounts on the reviews platform.
- Scheduling calls with vendors to outline the benefits of having their customers provide reviews on the platform and creating programs to drive such reviews.
- Outlining the benefits of research driven "Buyers Guides" to vendors, keeping vendors engaged by providing a constant stream of CTA's to vendor accounts.
- Working with in-house team and external resources to drive audience to reviews platform.
Jobs : Curation, Posting & Engagement
- Influencing vendors to post their marketing jobs on our platform.
- Creating a process to drive awareness and posting of jobs from enterprise & SMB space at scale.
- Creating processes to create awareness and engagement from within our subscriber community & social networks.
Email - Campaign Management :
- Creating a robust process of campaign delivery, i.e. delivery of client content assets to our subscribed audience.
- Managing the subscriber database and staying on top of the unsubscribes and overall data health, adding net new data as and when required.
- User Engagement - Staying on top of tactical & strategic initiatives put in place to drive and increase user engagement.
Strategic Account Marketing :
- Continuing and strengthening a program to create brand recall for around 60 identified key accounts (likely to provide bulk of business to ).
- The incumbent shall also be expected to lend support for upcoming initiatives such as roll out of an Awards Program, Online Education, Mobile Application, Community, Subscriber Engagement & Communication features.
- The incumbent shall be expected to create a well rounded reporting structure to capture the audience development & engagement metrics along all the components.
- The candidate shall have at least 10 years of professional experience preferably in the b2b or media space and have a deep affinity + understanding of technology & marketing.
The role is challenging and will require the incumbent to be extremely hands-on with the team .
