Our client is a leading US based product company that is looking for a seasoned analytics professional for leading and growing their Data Science & Data Engineering practice.

Description

- Reporting into the Head of Technology, some of your key responsibilities shall include:

- Identify complex business problems and work towrds building analytical solutions inorder to create large business impact

- Collaborate and ideate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic questions for the business that can be solved and champion the effectiveness of utilizing data, analytics, and insights to shape business

- Contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and supporting other key business outcomes using analytics techniques.

- Focus on driving operational efficiencies by use of data and analytics to impact cost and employee efficiency

- Baseline current analytics capability, ensure optimum utilization and continued advancement to stay abridge with industry developments

- Establish self as a strategic partner with stakeholders, focused on full innovation system and fully supportive of initiatives from early stages to activation

- Review stakeholder objectives and team's recommendations to ensure alignment and understanding

- Drive analytics thought leadership and effectively contributes towards transformational initiatives

- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes

Profile

- 15+ years of experience with Master's degree; with 6+ years of leadership experience with large product firms

- Strong background and proven experience with strategy and planning building business focused analytics' team

- Experience building analytics applications leveraging R, Python, Tableau, Looker or other

- Experience with SQL, Excel (Pivot tables, PowerPivot, Visualization), R/Python

- Perform data operations to subset, sort, merge, aggregate, join and re-shape datasets in a variety of environments (Excel, SQL, Hive, R/Python); Perform CRUD operations in different environments.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

- Project execution experience in complex matrix organization dealing with leadership, staff and stakeholders

- Working knowledge of data warehousing infrastructure, application technologies and application development platforms and/or languages

- An ideal team player

- Be self-driven and thrive in a challenging and competitive environment

- Demonstrate ability to work independently and with teams to deliver complex analysis

- Experienced in running trainings and mentor programs for managers and analysts

- Demonstrate ability to design analytical solutions and write code to implement the solution

- Experience in Big Data
