Job Title : Director - Credit

Location : Mumbai

Key Requirements :

- Experience in carrying out credit appraisals and preferably having worked in a role with credit approval authority.

- Financial analysis skills.

- Knowledge of products, relevant regulations and guidelines.

- Motivated; ability to work in teams.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities :

- It is expected that the person should have the ability to develop and express an informed opinion and have the confidence to defend the opinion.

- Eventually he / she should earn the respect of business partners as a Solution Provider and then use influence to mould transactions to desired Risk - Return outcomes.

- Evaluate credit facility proposals and make conclusionary recommendations. This would involve vetting of financial models (assumptions, contracts, etc), assessing risks and proposed mitigants, rating of borrower, reviewing terms and conditions for appropriateness, fit to portfolio, etc.

- On going review of the portfolio and semi-annual re-rating of assets with a focus on identifying emerging risks early and help develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Contribute to periodic presentations on key sector events, trends, sensitivities, etc and to reporting requirements.
