Sales Director/Country Chairman
As as RAC Sales Director / Country Chairman, your role is to :
- Support the Market VP @HQ France in the implementation of the commercial strategy for the Market based on the defined business mandate
- Build and develop the detailed commercial strategy for the Market segments/geographies
- Implement and monitor the strategic sales plan
- Help to execute Imerys strategy and drive Imerys business development efforts in India
- Lead/ Supervise organisational projects, and ensure collaborations among sites & businesses
- Manage relations with public authorities and local community to ensure smooth Imerys operations
Business scope:
3 markets (direct responsibility) :
1) Refractory Producers (Refractory, Advanced ceramics & specialties, Investment casting)
2) Abrasives, and
3) Construction (Building & Infrastructure)
- Locally leading a commercial team of (Sales, Technical support, marketing & business analyst, office assistant)
- Dotted-line responsibility for Operations in Vizag Plant
- Working closely with other areas of the business including :
a. Other markets present in India in Performance Minerals, notably Ceramics.
b. Local support functions : Finance, Supply chain & Customer Service, Science & Technology, Human Resources, Legal teams.
c. At a global level (International environment) : Key Account managers, Global refractory teams (Technical support, Marketing, HR, Business analyst .)
d. New Business & Product development, M&A
