The role involves managing the Corporate and Career Services (CCS) team campus and ensuring the successful career outcomes for graduating classes.
- Strategize and plan the corporate outreach and campus recruitment process. Take overall responsibility for final placements, summer internships, and live projects for all the programs.
- Lead and manage the CCS team including setting goals, targets and allocating accounts. Deliver on both individual and overall team targets.
- Manage existing accounts and Convert new accounts through structured outreach by self and team members
- Plan and engage with corporates for strategic activities including guest lectures, panel discussions, conclaves, workshops, competitions, etc.
- Manage student career services, including career counseling, grooming and helping in the preparation of students for facing interviews.
- Ensure the maintenance of a good CRM system to record and track industry contacts.
- Work with other key stakeholders including Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing & Admissions teams to achieve both career services and larger institutional objectives
- Interface with Guests/eminent personalities coming to campus as required
- Any other duty assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications, Experience and Competency requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a good school; Masters (ideally MBA) would be an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with experience in managing sales teams
- Ability to meet targets assigned with a keen eye on planning, managing, and execution.
- Well networked in the corporate HR community. Experience in working with senior professionals in HR, functional leaders, CXOs, having a rich track record of closing the deal.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, positive attitude & pleasing personality with strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- High level of integrity and strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
