Key responsibilities include :
- Provide the India Regional Head with support to carry out jurisdictional accountabilities with local stakeholders, institutions and vendors.
- Provide input into controls assessment and oversight in the region, and coordinate required business management/ COO activity to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls for the region.
- Provide the Regional Head with support the regional locations, cost and talent strategy executions.
- Provide support to India head and lead some of the strategy priorities for India Business Development Centers (BDC), people and talent planning and strategy projects.
- Act as COO/Business Manager -Regional Head to provide input into/drive regional workforce planning, acquisition and management activities
- Provide organizational support for all business management activities including but not limited to vendor management/invoicing, resource management, space planning, business continuity management and learning and development
- Drive the resourcing strategy and lead/coordinate the hiring and on-boarding of perm and contractor resources
- Drive the implementation of key governance and control activities across team management, compliance and stakeholder coordination
- Understanding the trends and pipeline of demand from the region and feeding that into the COO management processes and decision-making.
You Offer :
Education / Experience :
- An University degree in a quantitative/business discipline, MBA is preferable
- 12+ years in Banking or Financial Services Consulting
- Demonstrable business management/COO experience in a similar sized role, Risk and Finance shared services experience would be preferable.
- Excellent communicator who can lead motivate and influence large team, leads by example and strategic in thinking with a keen eye for details.
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience managing operational risks, site management, vendor management, people and talent management, financials etc for a large organization.
- Strong experience in Project Management / Process re engineering / Six sigma / Lean sigma experience.
- Expert in Microsoft office suits, MS SharePoint, MIS Dashboards development and management experience is a plus.
- Technology savvy, experience in designing MIS databases and tool-sets is a plus.
- Self-starter, able to drive the agenda forward, analytical mind set, able to grasp big picture while not losing sight of details.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to distill information in to meaningful messages driving the actions/agenda forwards.
