About The Role:
The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations Control Team's primary function is to implement and maintain an effective control framework across the CCB Operations organization. The Central Support Services team provides Functional Control Officer support across the India and Philippines GSC- s, in addition to reporting and analysis in support of the executive team, providing ongoing visibility of key control issues through a number of engagement forums. The Control Director position is the senior-level Controls representative for the India GSC with the following key areas of focus:
- Serves a senior Controls partner and advisor to the India CCB Operations business leadership team
- Partner with India country and O&C leadership to drive the execution of the Controls agenda
- Provide thought leadership in the development and execution of a sustainable operating model to ensure clarity and consistency of control support across India and Philippines, and between on-shore and off-shore Control teams
- Provide leadership and support in a matrixed environment for the entire CCB Controls team presence in India
- Risk Control Self Assessment / Financial Controls
Desirable Qualities:
The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, project management skills, analytics and excel in communications (both written and verbal). This position with interact with all levels of management within the controls organization, as well as other parts of the business. This role will require interaction with other LOB control teams to ensure the control agenda is managed effectively.
