ROLE SUMMARY

Be responsible for achieving financial targets including revenue and profitability for Urban advisory, in line with overall organizational goals.

- Define the vision and objectives of the Urban advisory practice and implement the strategic goals

- Experience in Urban Sector -Water & Sanitation, Real Estate & Housing Development, Urban Infra

- Be responsible for developing Urban advisory team as the advisor of first choice. Effectively position the capability to external parties.

- Establish strong relationships and influence the decision makers with the Domestic and International Governments, Government Owned Undertakings, Independent Regulatory Boards, Multilateral & Bilateral funding institutions, Private sector clients.

- Strengthen Urban Advisory's franchise in the areas of policy making and economic development in the domestic and international markets; be acknowledged as the thought leader in the industry

- Be a change agent and implement best practices followed within the team.

- Create a highly effective and engaged workforce.

- Be responsible for imbibing company values amongst the employees

Essential Qualification

- Professionally qualified i.e. BE. MBA or CA

Experience

- 10 - 15 years of overall experience, including a significant stint in infrastructure consulting (at least 8 years).

- He/ she should have successfully led large multi-year and prestigious mandates in the areas of institutional reforms and programs, monitoring & evaluation, capacity building, etc

- Should have experience in interacting and dealing with senior-level functionaries of policy makers, regulators, government agencies, multilateral agencies, and private infrastructure players

- Should have experience in working in international emerging markets.

Skills Strong leadership skills

- Execution excellence and strong track record of delivering results

- Ability to spot external changes and devise strategies to keep ahead of competition

- Strong awareness of business environment and clients segments to be able to relate to their needs, concerns and emerging needs

- Strong networking and relationship building skills

- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at the board level, senior bureaucrats and senior bank officials

- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
