Job Description:
Head the practice for Lifesciences or Healthcare consulting practice in tbhe IT/Business advisory domains, with respect to BD, Client Relationships and Delivery Management. Will have Revenue and P&L responsibilities to manage.
Strategy and Business Development:
- Review and refine the strategy and current operating model of the consulting vertical with a view to making it sustainable, team based, IP driven and a high value function for the group
- Actively leverage stakeholder relationships to get sponsorship and buy-in for new projects/pilots and define a business development strategy for the vertical
- Independently lead delivery for the practice, in consulting assignments for clients and provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of the clients
- Have responsibility for leading, managing and growing the Consulting practice for the vertical.
- Manage service delivery, people and business growth for the Consulting vertical by leveraging stakeholder relationships and actively identifying potential support areas .
- Independently lead consulting engagements in India for the global clients with a view to improve overall delivery and maximize stakeholder feedback through guidance and mentor ship for reportee consultants.
- Streamline current delivery processes and bring adequate quality controls
- Provide oversight to other consulting assignments as appropriate
- Act as single point of contact /account manager role for key stakeholders and manage key relationships
People management:
- Direct responsibility for people management in a pyramid structure, for the vertical across the employee life cycle from hiring to managing appraisals to handling exits.
Canidate profile:
- 2 years full time MBA (from IIM, XLRI, FMS, NMIMS, ISB, SP Jain, Asian School of Management, Insead, Kelloggs), majoring in Finance / Strategy / Marketing
- 14 plus years of experience out of which 5-6 years in a client facing and team managing role within a large MANAGEMENT CONSULTING firm/ organization.
- Must have handled numerous project engagements into IT Strategy & Business Advisory services, for large MNC organisations in the Lifesciences or Healthcare industries, with a focus on American and European engagements.
- Ideal candidate would have handled a role with BD and Delivery blended responsibility.
