Digital and Technology transformation is one of the most important Board room agenda items of banks in the country. We are at the forefront of advising clients on their Digital agenda. The next step of evolution for the practise is to drive the agenda for Legacy Tech Modernisation with engineering and development capabilities.
The opportunity : Our Client (Leading big 4 Management Consulting firm) is looking to hire Director Digital and Tech Transformation focused on Banking Industry.
Your key responsibilities :
- Collaborates with practice, industry, and other firm leaders to develop market facing initiatives that drive the firm's strategy
- Own and drive business development goals with focus on acquiring newer clients as well as expanding existing client portfolio
- Oversee the quality of engagements including the technical execution and the quality of the deliverables for the engagements
- Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
- Responsible for the development of the team by providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members
Skills and attributes for success :
- Strong understanding of banking domain
- Emerging Digital and technology trends including but not limited to core banking, lending and other banking technology platforms and solutions
- Strong connects with CIO and 1 downs in domestic private sector banks in India.
- Open to travel across India and outside
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams development and growth
To qualify for the role you must have :
- Any engineering graduate along with MBA degree (preferred)
- Strong experience in building and driving technology solutions for banks with engineering and development teams of banks/IT Companies/System Integrators
- 14-18 years of digital and technology experience (client serving candidates only)
- Experience in driving large project execution,
- Can manage P&L, client expectations, demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge
Ideally youll also have :
- Good interpersonal, problem solving, reasoning and analytical skills
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
