Director - Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Management :
- Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with company goals and are competitive within the industry.
- Conduct job evaluations, salary surveys, and analyze compensation data to determine competitive positioning.
- Design and manage incentive programs, bonus structures, and commission plans.
- Prepare compensation reports and present findings to management.
Benefits Administration :
- Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
- Communicate benefits programs to employees and resolve any related issues or concerns.
- Work with vendors and brokers to negotiate benefits plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct benefits orientations and training sessions for employees.
Compliance and Reporting :
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local laws.
- Prepare and submit required reports, such as EEO-1 and other compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and benefit enrollments.
Data Analysis and Reporting :
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics for senior management.
- Use data to forecast future compensation and benefits costs and trends.
Employee Relations and Support :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation and benefits matters.
- Conduct training sessions for HR staff and managers on compensation and benefits programs.
Continuous Improvement :
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in compensation and benefits.
- Recommend and implement improvements to compensation and benefits programs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
