Responsibilities
- Establishes aggressive goals and delivers results.
- Translate business vision and strategy into operational tactics while building organizational support and infrastructure
- Identifies and solves problems that impact the management and direction of the business.
- Ensures the organization meets Service Level Agreements / Performance Guarantee goals.
- Ensures alignment with key business partners to serve their customers
- Hiring, coaching, mentoring and performance management of the leadership team and their functional departments to ensure talent is working toward improving our business and servicing our customers
- Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management
- Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Supports and leads operational execution programs and quality to deliver on our value proposition to customers.
- Leverages shared resources to drive improvements.
- Collaborates in building of business plans
- Establishes and maintains an environment conducive of positive morale, creativity and team work.
- Collaborates with Human Capital to develop and implement retention strategies.
- Uses appropriate control mechanisms to monitor and manage the business segment(s) overall performance.
- Builds and reviews business scorecards and performance metrics for the assigned segment(s) and appropriately builds action plans.
- Shares best practices with the business partners.
Competencies
- Proven track record of leading change and focus on operational efficiencies and continuous process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with solid understanding of how business operations affect P&L and/or experience creating budgets.
- Strong operational knowledge and ability to understand operational metrics and solve operational and business problems
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous environment and flexible to change and re-direct as business needs change
- Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking skills to bring solutions to meet business needs.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting information to senior-level executives.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work effectively in a matrixed environment
- Familiarity with healthcare payment integrity, fraud operations and technology, a plus
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
