Director - Capital/Investment Banking - Real Estate Sector

Role : - Director - Capital ( Investment Banking for Real Estate Sector)

Location - Bangalore / Chennai

KRA :-

Functional:

- Drive business of the platform for the Zone by continuously identifying and generating potential leads for debt, Equity, LRD, structured funding, investment sales, land (sale, JV/JD) and other Real Estate proposals from developers, Funds and Corporates

- Ensure delivery of optimal business revenue & profitability for self and zone

- Collaborate with Corporate office and other group companies to optimise business origination and delivery

- Networking with developers, Corporates and Capital providers to get mandates for debt, equity, asset sale, land and hotel proposals

- Networking with lenders and Private Equity funds to ensure smooth processing of proposals

- Work in close coordination with internal teams / tap market sources to identify LRD opportunities when the leases are getting negotiated

- Create effective niche in preparation and presentation of proposals to lenders and investors along with complete analysis of the proposal with data

- Continuously identify opportunities to leverage the organisational strengths and create new avenues of income generation

- Identify avenues for cross selling different services offered by the organisation and generate revenues by cross selling

- Create modules for sharing information on the proposal with the relevant stakeholders

Strategic:

- Ideate & recommend new project, process developments

- Manage innovative sales processes that are competitively benchmarked

- Drive business in a manner to maintain operational, process and regulatory compliance and also ensure quality is maintained

Preferred Experience / Qualification &Skill Sets:-

- MBA / CA with 14 to 22 Yrs experience. With last 7+yrs into Investment Banking for Real Estate Industry.

- Complete understanding of real estate funding cycle with proven capability in assessing / working on real estate funding proposals

- Ability to read, decipher and interpret balance sheet and financial statements specially with respect to real estate companies/ developers

- Proven relationship skills in generating and executing business plan

- Should come either from a banking platform or top tier investment banking platform
