Director - Business Systems

Company Profile: Cloud-based platform offering learning resources for student groups such as K-12, pre-primary, children with special needs, university students, etc.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and coach a team of admins, developers, analysts and engineers who support various applications across the organization.

- Collaborate with US projects teams ensuring overall project success with strong focus on communication.

- Ensure the quality, reliability, security and performance of the business systems and data.

- Establish and enforce best practices, standards and processes for business systems development and administration.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements and expectations.

- Lead and oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects, enhancements, and fixes for the business systems.

- Help build a team in India to support the team in project work, production support and scrum work with key focus on scalability and execution.

- Collaborate with the leadership team on the mission and operating model of the Business Systems function.

- Partner with the leaders of the application team to support CA Operations.

- Create a customer service-oriented mindset within the team and ensure deliverables are done on time and with high quality.

- Maintain strong relationships and very strong communication with the business stakeholders and the application team.

- Work closely with the management team to come up with ways on running IT operations smoothly and efficiently.

- Ensure the scalability and sustainability of the business systems and data.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in business systems management, development, and administration.

- Experience managing projects and project teams with focus on delivery, timeliness, scope and quality

- Experience with CRM, ERP, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Data Analytics systems.

- Experience with managing teams and projects within the Salesforce environment is a must have.

- Experience with leading and managing a team of admins, developers, analysts, and engineers in an Agile environment.

- Experience with building and managing a team in India.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Knowledge of Workday and Sitecore applications are nice to have.
