Job Description:
As the Director of D2C Tech Business Strategy, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our D2C tech business initiatives. Leveraging your extensive consulting background with top firms such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), or Bain & Company, along with your deep expertise in new age D2C tech firms, you will lead strategic planning, business development, and execution to drive growth and profitability. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will provide thought leadership, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations to position our company as a leader in the D2C tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive growth and market expansion for our D2C tech business, leveraging industry insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, aligning resources and capabilities to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to define and execute product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, and industry experts to drive business development and strategic partnerships.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in strategic consulting roles with top firms such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain, combined with hands-on experience in new age D2C tech firms.
- Deep understanding of the D2C landscape, including emerging trends, technologies, and best practices, with a track record of driving successful business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
