The Director of JKBS is responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing academic and administrative operations, and ensuring the institution's growth, excellence, and reputation. The Director will work closely with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders to enhance the college's educational offerings, research initiatives, and industry collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Governance:
- Develop and implement the college's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Represent the college in academic, corporate, and government forums.
- Report to the Board of Trustees/Governing Body on institutional performance and development.
Academic Excellence & Faculty Management:
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry trends.
- Promote high-quality teaching, research, and faculty development.
- Encourage innovation in pedagogy, including digital and experiential learning.
- Attract, retain, and mentor high-caliber faculty members.
Student Development & Support:
- Ensure student-centric policies and a supportive learning environment.
- Promote career development, internships, and placement opportunities.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular and leadership activities.
Industry & Community Engagement:
- Foster partnerships with businesses, industries, and international institutions.
- Encourage faculty and student engagement in consultancy, research, and social initiatives.
- Build strong alumni networks and leverage their expertise and contributions.
Financial & Operational Management:
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
- Oversee infrastructure development and digital transformation efforts.
- Ensure operational efficiency and effective resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Business Administration,
- Minimum 20-25 years of academic experience, including at least 5 years as a Director in Management Collage
- Strong understanding of higher education policies, industry trends, and accreditation standards.
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive institutional growth, and establish partnerships.
