Client is seeking a Director of Business Development/Sales who will have a major impact on sales performance by driving growth across all product categories and channels. The Director of ofBusiness Development/Sales will be an individual contributor position responsible for working closely with our Customer Success, Product and Marketing teams to close business in the enterprise space. This is a new business development position which requires tenacity and hard work
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan in partnership with Client sales leadership
- Develop account specific plans for developing new relationships and generating sales
- Work independently and with business development resources to develop and execute prospecting strategies to identify, qualify and close new business
- Develop and manage pipeline activity
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through close using Salesforce CRM
- Develop and deploy strategies for securing new accounts.
- Deliver compelling customer presentations that expertly articulate the Client Value Proposition
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; business and marketing majors preferred.
- Five + years of outside sales experience selling Learning Content or Learning/HCM applications to Enterprise Buyers is essential
- Initiative - Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for a new and productive ways to make an impact
- Confidence to approach, work with and challenge senior executives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
- Positive and enthusiastic.
- Self-starter with discipline to work as a remote employee
