Director - Business Development - Leading Brand

A Leading Brand is looking for a Business Development Director

Responsible For : Development of business within assigned region

Responsible To : COO for assigned region

Key Staff Relationships : Head of Operations, Operations Managers, Telemarketing Team and others where appropriate

Position Overview :

The Business Development Director is responsible for the development of markets in order to gain future projects for the company's within their assigned areas (INDIA). Working to agreed targets, the BDD must strive to increase their region's client base whilst working to the highest levels of professionalism.

Main Accountabilities :

- Working with COO and senior managers to secure profitable business within a pre agreed region

- Develop an effective working relationship with Telemarketing colleagues

- Manage external relationships with prospect and using clients

- Report any business leads outside of own area back to relevant contact

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Work to pre agreed revenue targets

- Attend sales meetings in order to investigate business opportunities

- Conduct follow up meetings with client in order to ensure customer satisfaction

- Maintain a diary which makes the most efficient use of time when visiting clients

- Ensure Telemarketer is aware of movements to ensure that meetings can be booked in an efficient manner

- Maintain efficient records on all prospect and using clients

- Update and maintain accurate notes using the company's CRM system

- Research new sources of business in order to develop and maintain a business pipeline

- Qualify business opportunities in accordance with the company's focus

- Attend client meetings across agreed region and update the business as to the outcome

- Report any business leads outside of own area back to relevant contact

- Negotiation of business contracts in accordance with authority level

- Complete all necessary paperwork and correspondence as required by the business
