Location: Mumbai/Gurgaon/Bangalore

Experience: 10-16 years (8+ years in the Utilities sector)

Education: B.Tech + MBA from a Tier-1 B-School preferred

Job Summary:

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Power, Utilities, and Renewable Energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, client management, and business development, particularly within consulting or service-oriented industries. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue in the energy and utilities space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Utilities, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors.

- Identify new market opportunities and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, and private-sector clients.

- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring meeting revenue and profitability targets.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term engagement and value delivery.

- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and customize consulting solutions tailored to client needs.

- Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and technological advancements in the power and renewable energy sectors.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen its market presence.

Required Skills & Experience:

Mandatory:

- Proven expertise in Business Development within the Power, Utilities, and Renewable Energy sectors.

- Strong consulting background with experience in market expansion, partnerships, and strategic sales.

- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, including regulatory bodies, policymakers, and corporate decision-makers.

Preferred:

- Experience in sales, client management, and strategic partnerships.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
