Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our international business expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BPO services and a proven track record of driving growth through strategic partnerships and client acquisition. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand our international presence and achieve revenue targets.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities for growth in target markets.
- Client Acquisition: Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation, ensuring a seamless transition to the delivery team upon client onboarding.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and industry influencers to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Revenue Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and KPIs to track performance and measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral to effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective clients.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 13 - 15 years of experience in business development, with a focus on BPO Offshore Market.
- Proven track record of success in driving international business expansion and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of BPO industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and motivating a high-performing sales team.
