We are giving career opportunity in below profile for our leading Pharmaceutical (CRO) Client.
Designation: Director-Business Development
Division: Biologics
Type : B2B
Location: Bangalore.
Note: Minimum 5+ years experience in Biologics Business Development( B2B) is Mandate.
JOB PURPOSE :
To lead the growth of business in Biologics Development and Manufacturing services.The roles will be to manage a team, and lead all activities of sales cycle including lead generation to contract closures. Primary objective is to expand the client base by developing interest from and signing on contracts with new clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for business development activities for Biologics Division (Development, Manufacturing- DS, DP, Stand-alone Analytical/Stability), Responsible for driving and coordinating business development (sales) activities targeted to Biotechnology customers in Europe, Asia including Japan to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities, Responsible for developing short and long-term sales and marketing strategy, and sales planning, Responsible for competitor intelligence, Responsible for collaborating with Operations experts to consultatively drive business
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- Masters or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or related field with MBA
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 12+ years of Business Development experience in a Biologics contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) organization.
TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Excellent understanding about CRO business model, working knowledge of Biologics with additional understanding on regulatory guidelines.
