Designation : - Director of Business Development, Automotive ( IoT / M2M)

Role :-
Director of Business Development, Automotive is responsible for managing the entire customer relationship from scoping and introductions through identifying the business opportunity, contract discussions, market, pricing, and all other related subjects covering the B2B engagement. The individual will identify potential, OEM and market-specific needs, and bring these opportunities to a business relationship and commitment.
The Director of Business Development, Automotive will drive overall alignment between all departments and the customer. The individual will be an exceptional team player and intellectually curious, looking for cross-functional opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Determines drivers- and OEM's needs and desires
- Understand the competition and other global connected car offerings
- Crisply identify unique selling points and key value propositions
- Work directly with OEMs to manage legal issues including contracts
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts, reports and analyses
- Helps manage overall program profit and loss between Company and OEM customer
- Strong presentation and speaking skills
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending meet ups, conferences, workshops, staying abreast of innovations, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
- A passion for excellent customer service

- A - roll up the sleeves- attitude with a startup spirit
- 10+ years experience, at least 5 years of automotive connected car experience with OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Experience with embedded products and hardware, OTA implementations, LTE, GSM, WiFi, and working with service providers/operators and hardware vendors
- Bachelor's degree
- Very strong written communication skills
- Willing to travel 50%
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
- Superior team player
- BE / M.Tech with PG in Sales & Marketing Preferred.
