Job Description:

- Ideal candidate holds responsibility for technology and technical architecture of the Big Data Innovation ecosystem. Develop strong and strategic interface with Business, Operations and Technical organization to ensure the integrity of the BI environment. Champion the use of digital data to drive product development, relevant experiences, and leading indicators for segmentation and targeting.

- Ability to lead multiple, complex projects simultaneously

- This person is accountable for the following: Assess leading technology and technical architecture.

- Define Data Innovation strategy/processes for: Technology Technical architecture Definition of technical architecture. Hardware requirements DBMS requirements Middleware requirements Network requirements Server configurations Client configurations

- Ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience including influencing skills with peers and senior management

- Self-motivated to continuously upgrade one's domain knowledge, keep abreast of latest developments in the field and evaluate its application in the business area on a consistent basis.

- Exceptional commitment to stay focused in one's pursuit towards excellence with demonstrated results of the same

Job Requirements:

- Master’s degree in computer science or related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (MapReduce Programming Paradigm, HBase, Pig, Hive, Sqoop) and/or key-value store technologies such as Cassandra

- 7+ experience with high-scale or distributed RDBMS (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, Aster Data, Vertica) 7+ years of experience with analytics technology (SAS, R, COGNOS, Tableau, etc) 7+ years hands-on experience with open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, Linux, Apache, Perl/Python/PHP)

- Ability to lead complex initiative

- Effective management skills to mentor, plan, track and communicate

- Ability to work in a highly matrix organization and manage work with people not directly part of the team.
