What would you do :
- Banking Partnerships: Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies with banks, partnering with various stakeholders (including risk, product, engineering, compliance, legal, and treasury).
- Product Building: Lead your team in strengthening of banking partnerships by introduction of new products, features and solutions
- Banking Sales: Build effective sales partnerships with banks for selling of Merchant Acquiring solutions
- Build relationships with regulatory and industry bodies
- Team Management: Lead the banking alliance team of PhonePe
- Develop and execute a comprehensive banking partnership and alliance strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key banking partners and alliances and other financial institutions.
- Work aggressively on business development, promotion and building the brand of the company.
- Ensure a higher level of engagements with the banks.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnership initiatives.
- Lead the team responsible for managing day-to-day interactions with banking partners and alliances, ensuring excellent communication, and issue resolution.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance, including tracking key metrics and providing regular updates.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to banking and payment gateways and ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Background :
- 15+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or related industries, with a proven track record of success in partnership and alliance management.
- Good network with different banks
- Good knowledge about relationship management and growth opportunities with bank
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
