Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of B2B Lead Generation to lead our efforts in building a robust and scalable lead generation engine. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to attract, qualify, and convert high-quality leads for our sales team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in B2B lead generation, a strong understanding of modern marketing technologies, and exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B lead generation strategy aligned with overall company goals and sales targets.
- Identify and evaluate new lead generation channels and tactics, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, partnerships, and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Create and manage the lead generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance against targets, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing lead generation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Define roles and responsibilities, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and optimize lead flow.
Campaign Development & Optimization:
- Design and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, social media, content syndication, webinars, and paid advertising.
- Develop compelling content assets, such as white papers, case studies, and blog posts, to attract and engage target audiences.
- Utilize marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to nurture leads and track campaign performance.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze data to optimize campaign effectiveness and improve conversion rates.
Technology & Data Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest lead generation technologies and best practices.
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance metrics and provide real-time visibility into lead generation performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff and optimize the lead qualification process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging, content, and branding across all channels.
- Partner with product marketing to understand target audience needs and develop effective lead generation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in B2B lead generation, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of modern marketing technologies, including marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. -
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
