Job Description & Summary
A career in this Big 4 firm's Corporate Transfer Pricing practice, within Transfer Pricing services, will provide you with the opportunity to help its clients develop compliant, tax efficient structures that help advance their business goals. You will focus on all aspects of documentation planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements.
The Transfer Pricing team helps its clients with a range of transfer pricing solutions including compliance, advancing pricing agreements, and defence and dispute resolution. You will focus on helping clients with business transformation that ultimately helps advance their business goals.
Responsibilities
As a Director/Associate Director, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping the firm's clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively lead the practice by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines
- Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalize on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors
- Identifying and discussing key issues with the firm's clients to identify potential opportunities
- Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications
- Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of the firm's clients and its own assignment quality criteria
- Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing/challenging the output produced by the team
- Responsibility for management of engagement financials
- Helping to grow and develop the transfer pricing team through hands-on training and coaching
To be tailor-fit for the above skill sets, the incumbent would need to be,
- A Chartered Accountant and/ or MBA with 8+ years (for the Associate Director role in Mumbai) and 10+(for the Director role in Pune) of relevant experience with professional services firm. Also open to look at candidates currently in industry but with good prior experience with a consulting firm
- Significant experience in handling advisory and litigation related to Transfer Pricing
- Good knowledge of Income Tax, FEMA, DTAA,
- Self Starter, Independently sets goals, objectives, and priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills including legal drafting /technical drafting
- Leadership and presentation skills
- People management and mentoring skills
