My client is a transatlantic consumer, corporate and investment bank offering products and services across personal, corporate and investment banking, credit cards and wealth management, with a strong presence in the Global markets.

Overall purpose of role

The role encompasses all aspects of Technology Infrastructure automation, from Robotic Process Automation, IT Process Automation and evolves all the way to cognitive, machine learning, intelligent chatbots and artificial intelligence. The implementation of Intelligent Automation is highly strategic, with the target of significantly improving the process quality, customer experience and the aim of delivering cost reduction. The role holder will provide management and leadership of the COE team ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of resources within the environment, delivering people/talent management.

Key Accountabilities

- Maintain and build the COE team in India, through internal and external hiring.

- Establish relationships with key stakeholders across the technology organisation to create a go to function for Automation.

- Support and imbed a target state service management framework for the Automation COE

- Work with the broader technology functions in India on ideas of collaboration.

- Stakeholder Management and Leadership.

- Financial and business management that underpin Automation COE

- Decision making and Problem solving

Person Specification

- Responsibility for delivering and managing a service in a technology context

- Experience with Agile, DevOps, SRE practice, process and tools.

- Experience with Infrastructure automation tools such as IPCenter, EyeShare, Saltstack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, RunDeck, Bamboo, Teamcity

- Experience with SOAP, Microservices and RESTful Architecture.

- Experience in Unix/Linux environment, programming languages C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Ruby

- Managed large teams (50+) and budget (- 5m +)

- External certification - ITIL Certification.
