Job Description - The Director-Analytical Applications Development Role involves the following broad aspects:

- Explore new technologies, assemble and lead teams in creating Analytics applications

- Lead multiple teams engaged in Application Development activities

- Drive Product development driven by the firm's Analytical Intellectual Property

- Help create significant business for the firm's clients through the use of Data and Analytics

The Successful Candidate - The Successful Applicant will:

- Bring 12+ years of progressive hands-on technical experience as well as 10+ years of full life cycle software development managerial experience including leading several multi discipline development teams concurrently

- Have Deep knowledge of current agile methodologies; specifically Scrum Experience

- Have experience in building/transforming a team from ground up into an agile, DevOps oriented team Technical competencies in the space of Business Intelligence and Database and understanding of Big data platforms like R, Revolution R

- Demonstrate proficiency in one of the business tools like Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, Business Objects

- Have knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies such as Regression (Linear, Logistic, etc), Cluster Analysis, CART/CHAID etcetera

- Be Experienced with Hadoop and Big Data technologies including NOSQL databases like mongoDB, elasticsearch in the development of analytic applications for performance and scale will be a considered a plus

- Bring Experience with Java and J2EE, Java based frameworks, Spring, Groovy, Maven, Gradle, SOAP and web services, REST APIs & open source software

- Demonstrate Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making, management and communications skills.
