Our client is a large Healthcare Global Group, This facility a 450-bed multi-disciplinary super-specialty tertiary care hospital in Bangladesh, provides comprehensive health care with the latest medical, surgical and diagnostic facilities.
We are looking for a Director Operations for this establishment in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Job Title : Director, Operations
Division/Department : Non-Medical Administration
Purpose : This position requires to provide direction to the non-medical departments, i.e. Operations, Hospitality, Facility Management, Food & Beverage and Scrutiny through strategic decision making in line with the vision and mission of the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, evaluate and implement service delivery process(s), procedure(s) and workflows of the concerned departments/units with the objective of utmost patient satisfaction from the point of view of ancillary services offered.
Generate and obtain feedbacks for sponsoring value adding ideas adopting continuous improvement philosophy in tandem with optimization of available resources.
Develop and provide guidelines superior guidelines, standard operating procedure and policies following the rules and regulation of the country and industry best practices.
Monitor, analyze and evaluate implemented tools and techniques for capturing the patient demand and appraise subsequent proposal to the competent authority for onward approval.
Prepare and adopt budgetary control for cost optimization of the allocated funds/resources, in search of the opportunity for efficient and effective service delivery.
Liaise with the local regulatory agencies as well as international accreditation bodies (e.g. Bangladesh Police, Rapid Action Battalion, BSTI, DoE, ISO, JCI, so on and so forth) for obtaining and renewing license/permission for facility, establishment and security of concerned issues.
Align departmental and individual objectives of the line staffs with that of Hospital and provide periodic feedback, appraise and direct for further improvement initiatives.
Develop the culture of transparency, accountability, compatibility, teamwork and flawless communication in every level of the reporting departments.
Conduct periodic skip-level meetings with the staffs down the line in order to resolve conflict, grievance and behavioral issues with the peer/supervisor/self in a healthy manner.
Academic Eligibility: At least graduation from any local/international universities having a Master's in business studies/administration, hospitality management.
Experience : 15 to 20 years of experience in any foreign countries with substantial job involvement in hospitality services, customer relationship management, hotel management, facility management etc.
At least 5 - 7 years in the leadership position in similar organization/industry. Preference to candidates from Hospital Industry
Technical Skills:
Excellent communication skills specially in English
Well conversant in any international language other than mother tongue and English is an added advantage
Cost control, negotiation, motivational speaking etc.
Service design and marketing.
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Compensation: Attractive tax free salary + family accommodation with fringe benefits. Approx range of around 35-40 lac per annum
