Job Description

- Candidate will be accountable for India's finance and accounting deliverable, compliance and strategy

- Candidate will work directly with internal personnel in India and counterparts in the US corporate offices to ensure accuracy, efficient and effective processes with compliance laws and policies in place

- Also, provide financial analysis and consultation to further the company's goals

Description

- Responsible for India's finance and accounting deliverable, compliance and strategy

- Management of India GAAP and US GAAP bookkeeping



- To be well versed with US revenue recognition and responsible for accurate and timely delivery of local monthly results to corporate office

- Manage key deliverable and ensures quality of work

- Ensure all processes are executed accurately and timely. Ensure audits happen effectively and efficiently

- Ensure gaps are communicated and mitigated in a timely manner

- Develop and implement continued improvement to recurring accounting processes and associated time-lines; A/P, Payroll, Advance tax, PF, Gratuity, Reimbursements, Treasury management (estimation of need and ensuring timely transfers from Corp to India entity etc)

- Manage local payroll in addition to AP and AR specialist working for US office from India

- Hire, train and manage employees for India office and for US office working from India

- Track and address queries or notices from the Income Tax department in a timely manner

- Provide support, including analysis and advice to executive leadership in India, working with the US 

corporate FP&A team

- Lead the local budgeting process and analysis of budget to actual results and responsible for monitoring the process for adherence to company policies and procedures

Profile

Candidate must have the following:

- 15+ Years of total experience and willing to work in night shift



- Experience in a SAAS company is a must

- Bachelor's degree in accounting required and a Qualified accountant (CPA/CA) is required

- Public accounting experience in a large multinational accounting firm strongly preferred

- Experience within US private company subsidiary strongly preferred

- Strong technical skills with detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

- Ability to perform advanced mathematical/accounting operations

- Must possess excellent communication skills in English with ability to exchange Information with others clearly and concisely
