Director - Account Management
Work Location : Mumbai (Candidate from Mumbai or who can relocate to Mumbai after few months)
Experience : 8+Years
Role : Team Management role (30-40 People, should have handled around 25- 30- People)
Key Points :
- Should have managed /handled mid-market clients in past - as they will be main clients ( nor very small buss neither very big buss).
- team management, Strategy to improve revenue - Farming export - task to increase revenue and engagement from existing client
- 100% farming role (generate business from existing accounts)- no new client acquisition needed.
Strategic Initiatives :
- Develop differentiated servicing strategy for various customer segments and build long lasting relationships with customers
- As a part of the senior leadership team, contribute towards the overall business strategy and operating plans.
P&L Management :
- Develop an AOP and the financial budget for the BU that support the Company's long- term strategy
- Accountable for the BU's revenue and expenses and assists direct reports in determining resource levels for their functions
- Ensure that the day-to-day business affairs of the Company are appropriately managed by developing and implementing processes that align with the Company's financial and operating goals and objectives
- Maintain tight control on operational metrics such as business forecasting, outstanding balance, revenue, IRR etc
Business Management & Growth :
- Monitor and review the operations in a very systematic manner to improve margins, bring efficiencies, reduce costs & increase the bottom line.
- Implement strategies to grow revenue from existing customers/markets and drive systems & processes to derive operational efficiency
- Ensure timely and accurate monitoring of progress of all projects/initiatives while ensuring Sponsors and Stakeholders have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions
- Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimize disruption
- Consolidate the distribution network - build rewarding relationships with the partner and channel ecosystem to ensure effective market management and penetration
Our Checklist :
- 8+ years of work experience with a strong track record of handling large sales/account management teams and growing revenues of business portfolio
- Banking / Fintech experience is a positive
- Result / achievement oriented with a high degree of push power, pro-activity and operational focus
- High degree of empathy; ability to develop credibility to positively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders - internal as well as external
- Experience working through complex problems with first principles and strategic thinking, formulating and executing plans to fulfill the organizational vision
- Humility, willingness to learn and proactive / at cause attitude towards the projects that come their way
- Strong verbal and written communications skills relevant for a multinational, geographically and culturally diverse corporation.
