- A career in our Deals Strategy and Operation practice, within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help the team build, develop, manage and run strategic capacity which will undoubtedly benefit and our clients. In short, you are expected to strengthen the bond and establish mutual understanding between us and our clients through releasing every team members' potential abilities and generating remarkable business value for the clients.

- The opportunity to work with IPO aspirant companies to check their readiness for the public or private markets.

- To work closely on the assessment study and then be part of the IPO journey in the form of getting the company ready by helping them fill up the gaps which come in the assessment and also project manage the IPO on behalf of the Company.

- To be a part of the post IPO scenario and set up the Investor relations function for the listed entity.

- To be the SPOC for pre-IPO, IPO and post-IPO for a company and replicate the model across clients.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

- The role will be to work in the Capital Markets Advisory team and get involved in doing the diagnostic study of potential IPO aspirants. In some cases, the companies may also go in for private funding, but the preparation is the same. The candidate will also be part of the project management team to work on behalf of the client in managing the IPO timetable. Besides managing the investor relations post IPO and helping the company maximizing its market cap will be an important milestone of the role. Team management experience even if it is a small team would be an added advantage.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IPO DIAGNOSTIC:

- To deep dive on each of the financial statements & processes of the a company and identify gaps from policies, SOP's etc. closing time table, adequacy of controls, ERP etc.

- To check on the information system preparedness across the company , To check on the ERP being used across functions in the Organization and check its adequacy.

- To work on the compliance checklist of the client and check for adequacy of compliance.

- To go through the risk profile of the Company from a ERM perspective.

- To work with the ESG team on a ESG strategy.

- To look for opportunities in operations improvement, revenue acceleration, and cost optimization.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

- To work as a conduit between client team and IPO consultants and ensure we stick to the time table. To vet the data given by the client before the same is passed on to the consultants.

- To be the point of solution for all consultant needs from the client in a IPO War room.

INVESTOR RELATIONS:

- To work with client on their quarterly presentations to Board/investors.

- To help set up the quarterly analyst call and post analyst call transcripts

- To work with the client to improve sell side coverage.

- To line up buy side investors for the client and engage in continuous discussion with existing investors.

- To work on perception study about the client with market participants.

- To work on peer benchmarking analysis and reports.

QUALIFICATION - CA with 5-12 years of post-qualification experience and having worked either in a IPO or in a listed company handling multiple stakeholders including investor community.

Required Skill Set:

Financial Acumen:

- In-depth understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

- Ability to perform financial analysis and interpret complex financial data.

- IPO and Capital Markets Knowledge:

- Comprehensive knowledge of the IPO process and capital markets regulations.

- Experience in guiding clients through the IPO journey, including due diligence, prospectus preparation, and regulatory compliance.
