We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Company Secretary at our reputable Chartered Accountant Firm. As a Company Secretary, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the client company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update company records and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Organize and prepare agendas for board meetings, committee meetings, and annual general meetings.
- Take minutes during meetings and maintain official records.
- Ensure that company policies are up-to-date and in compliance with legislation.
- Assist in the efficient management of company assets and investments.
- Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
- Provide advice to the board on corporate governance issues.
- Handling and managing the documentation of filings for various corporate actions including corporate structuring and fund raise etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with relevant certification.
- Prior experience working as a Company Secretary in a chartered accountant firm is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
