The Senior Banking Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the bank. With 10 years of experience in banking strategy, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting key strategic projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the banking industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Lead the development and execution of the bank's strategic plans and initiatives.

- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.

- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and insights.

Business Development:

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansions.

- Develop business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions.

- Drive the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Develop actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify potential risks and opportunities.

- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with business goals.

- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to drive strategic projects and initiatives.

- Facilitate strategic discussions and workshops with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Performance Measurement:

- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

- Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.

- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Thought Leadership:

- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in banking strategy.

- Represent the bank at industry conferences, forums, and events.

- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, articles, and presentations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in banking strategy, management consulting, or related roles within the financial services industry.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic plans and initiatives.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial modeling and analysis.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

- Deep understanding of the banking industry, including regulatory environment and market dynamics.
