Digital Project Manager - Gems & Jewelery/Luxury Segment
Designation : Digital Project Manager
- The digital project manager will be responsible for designing and managing digital marketing and e-commerce projects, improving user experience, identifying and resolving issues, as well as adhering to specifications, and time - cost estimates.
- He should be able to juggle different tasks and liaise with various clients and stakeholders.
- To be successful as a digital project manager, one should have sound knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce practices.
- To be an outstanding digital project manager you have to have an excellent technical background, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyzing project requirements and preparing budgets and schedules.
- Developing detailed designs, plans, and monitoring progress as well as writing up reports.
- Liaising with relevant teams, clients, and managers for the duration of the project.
- Manage, run and coordinate complex digital projects on the company's key e-commerce, digital marketing, and backend ecosystem.
- Run virtual teams across business functions, disciplines, roles, and locations, leveraging agile methodologies.
- Supervise the digital production and delivery of websites and digital campaigns.
- Build trust and relationships with business stakeholders as well as product managers, UX/UI specialists, designers, and analytics specialists.
- Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress.
- Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met.
- Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues.
- Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects.
Requirements :
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate digital projects in a complex business environment.
- Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS.
- Excellent knowledge of content strategies, web design, UX, web analytics, SEO, accessibility, and email marketing, as well as agile project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and communication trends (including. data-driven marketing, marketing automation, and social media).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills - including the ability to document and explain technical items/issues clearly.
- Being highly organized, hands-on, and with the ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment is a desired trait.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills :
- Proven work experience as a digital project manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Higher education, preferably in Communication, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 4 years of digital marketing and e-commerce experience ,ideally from a digital production type environment (e.g. web agency or digital marketing agency)/Jewellery/luxury domain.
