Youre the one were looking for if you:
- Independently work with multiple stakeholders to gather project requirements / inputs, develop solution approach, perform analysis and present insights with actionable recommendations to leadership teams
- Design, develop and execute analytical solutions for digital analytics functions using statistical tools like modeling, segmentation, and clustering on traffic data to increase customer penetration to e-commerce channels
- Oversee design, setup and measurement of A/B website tests across Synchrony platforms
- Partner with analytics implementation team to ensure personalization data processes are accurate and scalable
- Partner with Marketing COE and Platform Analytics teams to oversee/ guide adoption of Personalization Analytics
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members as required
- Perform other duties and/or special projects/initiatives as assigned over and above aligned workstream
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAS, SQL, R or Python and working knowledge of Data warehouse data structure and reporting
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in leveraging digital channels and data to drive growth, preferable in financial services industry or digital agency
- Minimum 1+ year of experience/good knowledge with statistical methodologies and confidence tests
- Strong working knowledge of digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics Suits, Google Analytics and Personalization Engines
Desired Characteristics :
- Prior experience using online behavioral data and analytics to drive growth in digital channels
- Hands-on experience in analytical techniques such as attribution modeling, A/B testing, design of experiment, and delivery of actionable recommendations based on results
- Understanding of credit card and consumer finance industry dynamics and P&L
- Knowledge of retail POS and merchant data
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills, with ability to influence across cross functional teams
- Direct experience in site analytics, display advertising, paid search and affiliate marketing
