Job description
Social Listening - Digital Conversation Analyst, Gurgaon
The Job
- Develop relationships with internal customer teams, this is a key part of the role as the team are so small
- Creating briefing material/templates to capture customer requirements
- Listening, Monitoring and Analysing against KPIs - at a minimum we'll want to listen to B2B social channels and our customers' influencer's sites i.e. Associated news, tech, industry sites, forums and blogs.
- Producing and presenting reports and recommendations around key KPIs that drive business forward
- Building an alert system of issues with a crisis potential.
- Capturing top prospects and customer's comments/questions and feeding them to appropriate teams
- Training the team/ internal customers so that they understand how to get the best out of their report
- Keeping on top of the latest technologies (e.g. advanced queries, Google tools) to gather insights
- Reviewing processes periodically to see if we can speed them up or try new ways to improve
- Managing a calendar/dashboard of activity
- Keeping track of best practice projects based on the output of your insights.
What you'll need to do in the job
- 3+ years of work experience in a similar job in B2B company, preferably telecommunications or IT services
- Experience managing social listening using Eloqua, or very similar system (like Oracle SRM (module within Eloqua), Radian6, BrandWatch etc.)
- Knowledge of translating business requirements into query strings that pull out the most concise results and cut out irrelevant noise
- The ability to translate insights into clear business recommendations
- Business degree
- Deep understanding of the B2B social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, SlideShare, YouTube, Blogs etc) and social media terminologies
- Understanding of website analytic tools e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics
- Excellent English Communication Skills (written and spoken). This is key as you'll need those to develop relationships, work with internal customers and our team.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Executive report writing & presentation skills are a must
- Be a proficient user of MS SharePoint and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to perform primary and secondary research to arrive at insights which address client requirements.
