Job Description:
- DigiLantern is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and an enthusiastic individual who can tackle HR challenges, enhance our workplace culture, and contribute to the growth of our company.
- Incumbent will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
- This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program, assessing their competitiveness and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, keeping up with changes in employment legislation.
- Nurture a positive working environment by developing strong employer-employee relationships and promoting company values.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and other HR issues in a confidential and sensitive manner.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews, making recommendations for improvements.
- Provide decision support through HR metrics and data analytics.
- Coordinate with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s / master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven working experience as an HR Generalist apart from recruitment (4+ years preferred).
- Deep understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Additional HR training or certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) will be a plus.
