POSITION SUMMARY
Develop, coordinate and execute global category management strategies related to Indirect Spend Categories like Admin, IT & Telecom, HR, Logistics etc & negotiating contracts terms and conditions favorable to the organization
JOB SUMMARY
- Will collaborate as an individual contributor to collectively manage strategic sourcing and procurement operations
- Oversee, conduct and actively manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement process for IT equipment, hardware / software, telecommunications, Contract & temp Workforce, Facilities, Travel, Real Estate, Logistics, MRO & Office Supplies for India as well as for the APAC region
- Provide purchasing and sourcing support to multiple legal entities for their continuous as well as one time requirements
- Conduct detailed spend analysis and bench-marking, evaluate market and competitive conditions and use as a basis to create data based Category strategies and sourcing activities
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for the relevant category in order to ensure quality of services and improve savings value and identify savings opportunities if any.
- Contract negotiations, market analysis, project management & implementation, subject matter expertise in value creation for the above given indirect procurement categories,
- Will be asked to deliver industry competitive savings, serviceability, and controls to the organization via strategic sourcing activities and operational process management.
- Knowledge of Import procurement & procedure is added advantages
- Track and report savings, support procure-to-pay process improvement within the Category area, monitor TCO improvement related to both P&L, working capital as well as Cost Avoidance Projects
- Develop and submit reports for senior management.
- Identify and evaluate market changes and new technologies make appropriate fact-based recommendations for adoption by stakeholders.
- Contract Renewals and negotiating contract Terms & Conditions
- Coordinating with teams for generation of PO as per agreed TAT
- Ensuring that the Invoice booked by business team are not held under exceptions cost savings documentation and tracking
Minimum Qualifications :
- More than 4 years of experience with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Category Management related to Indirect Procurement
- Knowledge on Savings and Spend Management, negotiation techniques
- Experience on working with Global Team as an added advantage
- Working knowledge on ERP system either SAP, Oracle or BAAN
- Knowledge on entire Procure to Pay Cycle Purchasing systems, Purchasing policies and processes
Salary Offered : Upto 12 LPA
