Senior Manager/AGM - Financial Planning & Control - CA
Job Summary:
Responsible for the entire finance function including accounting, taxation, MIS, compliances and audits. Reporting to finance head who is moving into the business role. The candidate should have the ability to takeover the finance function independently in the next 2-3 years.
Experience - 6-8 Yrs Key Skills - MIS, GST, AOP, P&L, Cash flows, Balance sheet, Financial controllingRoles and Responsibilities:1. Work with all functions to prepare the AOP and closely monitor and drive the performance of the company to achieve the same.
2. Finalization of monthly accounts, P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet.
3. Preparation and analysis of monthly MIS reports for financials, operations, sales, marketing, etc. and present go forward strategy to top management.
4. Managing working capital including receivables, inventory and payables efficiently.
5. Maintain close connection with international franchisees and ensure compliance with all franchise agreement terms and collection of all the dues from them.
6. Negotiate terms with landlords, franchisees, vendors and service providers.
7. Internal control strengthening.
8. Expenses management, prepare and implement the effective Incentive structures.
9. Dealing with Bankers, consumer financing.
10. Timely filing of ITR, tax audit, international taxation and Transfer Pricing compliances, assessment and departmental audits.
11. Ensure all the compliances of GST, FEMA, RBI, ROC, Labor Law and all other laws of the land.
Requirements:1. Preferably around 28-35 years of age. Must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 6-8 years of post-qualification experience.
2. He should preferably be a finance controller of a small to mid-sized business.
3. Experience of multi-dimensional industries preferably with a background in service businesses (healthcare/ retail/ consumer etc). For example, if the candidate has spent whole life in media industry, he will be unfit.
4. Size of company - Candidate should have preferably also worked in small and growing companies and used to rolling up the sleeves.
5. Nature of role - Candidate should have been in leadership role and have a leadership mindset. He must take ownership of business and be fully aware of business drivers.
6. Candidate must be commercially savvy and think on his feet for the company all the time. It is a 24/7 role, not 9-5!.
