FUNCTION/ Department:Project Management

FUNCTIONAL/ OPERATIONAL:
- Understand Client requirements for a Project; Execution and implementation of complex and comprehensive network solution projects for a line of client processes; Focus on developing and deploying tools/ methods/ best practices to drive seamless transitions from clients to IGSPL while reducing transition costs and timelines.
- Maintain & monitor project metrics
- Interact with clients with respect to project status and plans
- Conduct team meetings to review internal project / task status
- Report internally and, to the client periodically
- Closely monitor team performance against client SLAs and develop & implement improvement plans wherever necessary
- Oversee migration of projects through BAU stage and until handover to Operations
- Manage customer relationships during design & planning and pilot phase
- Undertake all project management responsibilities (including project planning, sizing, financial validation of commercials, client & internal reporting on project metrics, etc)
- Support Operations in development of offshore service management framework (SSA, SLAs, etc) jointly with customer for offshore service delivery
- Ensure adequate staffing (numbers and quality) in recruitment by coordinating with HR team
- Ensure successful accreditation of staff by coordinating with CORE trainers, process trainers and training development team
- Accountable for minimizations of migration costs
- Evaluate project risks and develop & implement mitigation plans
- Support onshore sales and relationship management team in identifying new / additional business opportunities with the customer
- Complete all relevant documentation for the transition
CLIENT SPECIFIC / ORIENTED:
- Work closely with client during design stage to develop project plan, capacity plan and implementation plan
- Interact with client in case of all project and offshore operations’ related issues during pilot stage
- Interact with client (in coordination with legal team & relationship management team) to support development of the Service management framework (SSA, SLAs, etc)
- Interact with client (in conjunction with relationship management team) for commercial matters
QUALIFICATION (Education):
- Graduate in any discipline, Preferably MBA/ PGDBM from a reputed Institute. Preferably Prince Certified and/or PMI certified.
DESIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of prior experience in transition
DESIRED INDUSTRY EXPOSURE:BPO
DESIRED ROLE EXPOSURE:
- Must have experience in implementation, program management, defining & re-engineering a process and implementing quality initiatives;
- Must have handled at least 5-7 transitions independently; Exposure to Project Management, Technology Design, Client interaction, Technology Transition / Migration would be an asset;
- In-depth knowledge on Networking Technologies including Routing / Firewall / Voice Avaya / Nortel would be advantageous;
- Knowledge/skill to design the Network for BPO/Call Center at offshore would be beneficial;
- Knowledge of MS Project, MS Visio, MS office is mandatory.
